Newcastle Airport’s route network is the widest of the four airports we cover, running everything from short European breaks to long-haul flights, which makes it the starting point for a large share of our holiday transfers.
A genuine alternative to the Metro
The Tyne and Wear Metro runs directly to Newcastle Airport, and it’s a sensible option if you’re travelling alone with hand luggage. It’s a different story for a family or a group of friends: multiple cases, an early start, or a return flight landing late at night all make a door-to-door minibus the more comfortable choice, with one pickup from a single address instead of a station platform.
Group travel for holidays
Because Newcastle Airport covers such a broad spread of holiday destinations, we regularly transport family groups and larger parties heading off together, particularly during school holidays. Our 10 to 16 seat minibuses keep everyone travelling together with room for cases, buggies and golf bags, and executive trim options add extra comfort for an early departure.
Short transfers from across the North East
Newcastle city centre is only around 15 minutes from the terminal, and Sunderland and Durham are both roughly 30 minutes away, meaning most of our Newcastle Airport bookings are relatively quick transfers even from outside the immediate city. Middlesbrough and the wider Teesside area are a longer run at around an hour, but many of our customers still prefer Newcastle Airport for its route choice and are happy to book a slightly earlier pickup to make the most of it.
Every Newcastle Airport transfer includes flight tracking on both legs of the journey, so delays on the way out or a fast-tracked return don’t leave anyone waiting at the wrong time.
